Adrian's helpful feedback covers my sketchbook progress from the first day of term up to the week before half-term. It reaffirmed that while my research can cover breadth, it often fails to explore sufficient depth. This can be improved through statistics, extrapolation, experimentation, responsive sketches etc.
In order to improve these aspects, I am working harder to ensure every page provides added value and can be used to probe deeper or explore further in the context of the current project.
In pursuing this, my sketchbook has also become more engaging to view and provides an interactive depiction of my thought processes.
It is also apparent that my mind-maps provide very little value as they give very little reason to either the viewer or myself to return to it.
